Following the unqualified success of the ‘Jet Ski Around New Zealand’, a world record ride from London to Sydney is now being planned.
In 2006 Jeremy Burfoot and Brad Burton went on a trip of a
lifetime all in the name of charity, riding
Seadoos 5,000 kms right around New Zealand to support cancer awareness.
Jeremy then 46, a Qantas 747 Captain and father of three sons has had personal experience of melanoma and saw an opportunity to use Jetski Around NZ to promote a SunSmart message during the summer.
The London to Sydney project ups the ante on the New Zealand trip - the total distance is about 28,000 km which is a world record by 9,000km. It should take around 4 months.
